As part of the Department of Education's commitment to implementing a whole school approach to preventing and addressing bullying in schools, the Department of Education have developed a set of guidelines and procedures which all schools must follow.
The Bí Cineálta procedures aim to support school communities to prevent and address bullying behaviour. Crosskeys National School is required to ensure we have a whole school Bí Cineálta policy based on these procedures by the commencement of the new academic year 2025 / 2026.
It is important to gather the views and opinions of all stakeholders. The views of all staff have been sought and we are now in the process of obtaining feedback from children and from parents.
